The program includes:

• daily art activities inspired by the local landscape
• art supplies
• walks in the surrounding area
• trips to Campulung, Namaiesti, and the Mateias WWI Memorial
• games and recreational activities

The program coordinator is Irina Hasnas Hubbard.
Accommodations, 3 meals a day plus a snack in the afternoon, excursions and local transportation are provided by the B&B Valea Mare (Pensiunea Valea Mare), represented by Mihnea Toncescu (website http://villa.3mt.ro). If there is a parent interested in attending as an educational aide, we would be happy to discuss their involvement.

To be provided by children:
working clothes for different weather conditions (from hats to shoes);
a set of colored pencils, or whatever art tools they like to work with;
maybe a favorite book;

Code of conduct for children:
to take care of the rooms and property of the guesthouse, to respect the other children's work, and to come to the organizer with any problems or questions

Participants: around 10 children, ages 6 -12

Spoken language: English (and potentially German and French)
